I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with certifications in German Language and Business/Entrepreneurship. This was a rigorous American university with high expectations and busy schedules. As a recent graduate, I still know what it means to work hard, and I bring my strong work ethic into everything I do.
Experience
Experienced with teaching students of all ages and nationalities - I have taught students as young as 4 and as old as 54. My students have been from Thailand, Vietnam, Russia, China, Italy, and France. I want to be a tutor because I like being able to give my students my undivided attention - it allows me to really see where they're struggling and what they're already great at. Some of my biggest strengths as a teacher are: my creativity - I keep lessons fun for both teacher and student my passion - I have never met a student who I couldn't inspire to want to learn - I instill my confidence and my passion for learning into my students my drive - I bring an incredible positive energy to each class to encourage my students to bring their best selves to class my languages - I am also a language learner (not just a teacher) and am currently learning German and Spanish. I understand what it's like to be a learner of a language, not just a teacher.
